ERP 08 Aircraft Hijacking

This order deals with the initial police response to a hijacked aircraft either landing or prior to take off at Bristol International Airport.

As part of the response to this type of incident, airport managers will set up the airport’s Crisis Management Centre (CMC). This will become the Multi Agency Centre (MAC).

The Incident Silver will be a key member of the CMC as this is where you will have to manage the response of the business partners within the airport.

Through CMC you can ensure that they are operating in a safe manner and supporting the policing objectives.
